R U Sure?
We live in a time of uncertainty where so many things are up in the air. Restaurants, movie theaters, shopping malls, many businesses and schools are all operating differently. Many people are losing jobs and struggling from day to day. The Bible predicts that life will begin to get crazy as we near the end of time. Due to everything going on, there are many people living in fear. My biggest fear is knowing that God created each of us to know Him and yet so many have yet to figure that out. A person doesn’t go to Heaven because of being good and no one can earn their way to Heaven, yet so many people believe this way. So, let me ask you a simple question. R U Sure you are going to Heaven? If you’re not sure what you believe, let me share God’s plan for you and no I am not talking about the song Drake wrote.
1. The Bible says we are all sinners. (Romans 3:23) We have all done things that are wrong.
2. Our sin separates us from God. Look at this illustration.
3. The good news is even though our sin separates us from God, He loves us so much the He sent his son Jesus to die in our place for our sin.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only son that whoever would believe in Him, would have eternal life.” John 3:16
4. The price for your sin has already been paid.
“God showed his great love for us that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
5. Salvation is free gift to you from God.
6. He is the only way to Heaven.
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by me.” John 14:6
7. So now it is up to you. All you have to do is cross the bridge that Jesus has created for you.
R U READY to cross the bridge Jesus created for you?
Here is how you can do that:
A – Admit you are a sinner and that you have made mistakes.
B – Believe that Jesus is God’s only son and he chose to die on a cross for you because of your sin.
C – Call upon Jesus in prayer right now, confess you are a sinner and ask Him to come into your heart to be your Lord and Savior.
“Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13
Prayer of Salvation:
Jesus…in this very moment I realize that I am a sinner. I also realize that even though my sin separates me from you, you died for me and for my sin. I ask you right now to forgive me of my sin, come into my heart to be my Lord and Savior and give me the gift of eternal life. From this day forward I will follow you. Thank you Jesus for saving me.
If you prayed that simple prayer and truly meant it, Jesus has stepped out of Heaven and into your heart. Your life will never be the same. The Bible says that Heaven throws a party when someone gives their life to Jesus, so that means if you just gave your life to Christ, your name is on the cake at the party.
